Planning

In my challenge I am going to look at human based animation for my examples.but i will use clay or lego to do my own stop motion animation, if I use lego for this animation I will need 3-5 lego people and I will need to print a background for this animation.

In my challenge I will different sound effects and lego faces for my animation, my animation will be based on the Hobbit, using Hobbit lego pieces and characters.

To get ready for this challenge, I will need to get together some lego models and characters. I am going to get these from my younger brother.

I will look for a suitable background off internet and print it out for my animation.

I will look for sounds to use from sound effect sites and you tube and convert them to mp3 files for my animation.

However, first, I will do some research to look at other animation sites to help give ideas for techniques and storylines.

My challege

In my challenge would like to learn more about how to make computer base animations and also stop-motion animations, I would like to learn more how to use the programmes to make the animations and be confident using them. I would like to learn how use i-stop animation and flash, I would like to learn how to use this software because I will then be able to make a lot of animations which I would like to create without any supervising.  By gaining this skills I will be able to make a better quality animation and more realistic.

The reasson that i have chosen those examples is because i really would like to try to make something like this because is very interested how, with only pictures they can make something look so cool and interesteing.

Arts Challenge

The subject that i have chosen for my arts challenge it will be animation and the reason for me to have chosen this challenge is because i haven't done any animation yet and i would like to explore the subject and give my best on it and see how it goes.

I would like to find out how to use animation software, how to make models or use models for animation and how to use an editing package to put it all together with sound into an animation sequence.

On all work i have done so far the ones i think that i'm stronger at is'Web Design' and 'Photoshop'
and the ones that i'm weak at is 'Animation' and 'Video'.

The media sector that i enjoy doing the most is doing the video editing, i like to cut parts of an video that i think thats not really working and making it better by adding background music and sound effects or change the color effect.

I will find out all the information about how to make my challenge with support of my  tutor and i also intend to look aroung the internet for some video tutorials on how to do certain things, hwo to use the software the right way in order to make a good piece for my arts award challenge.
